About the stadium

Opened in 2015 and nicknamed “El Gigante de Acero” (the Steel Giant), the home of Monterrey’s Rayados frames the Cerro de la Silla mountain through an open corner — one of the most striking backdrops in world football.

It has hosted CONCACAF Champions League finals and the 2022 CONCACAF W Championship final, and stages World Cup matches in 2026.
