About the stadium
Opened in 2017 in downtown Atlanta, Mercedes-Benz Stadium is defined by its camera-aperture roof and a 360-degree “halo” video board. It is home to the NFL’s Falcons and to Atlanta United, who draw some of the largest crowds in MLS.
It hosted the opening match of Copa América 2024 and group games at the 2025 Club World Cup, and stages a 2026 World Cup semi-final.
