Christopher Operi

Christopher Opéri is an Ivorian defensive midfielder who built his career in France before moving to Turkey with İstanbul Başakşehir, earning his first senior international caps in 2024.

Opéri developed at Caen's academy before joining Châteauroux, where he played over 70 Ligue 2 matches. A move to Gent followed, and then a three-year spell at Le Havre where he logged 76 league appearances and helped the club compete in Ligue 1.

He signed for İstanbul Başakşehir in January 2025 and made his Ivory Coast debut in June 2024 during World Cup qualifying, accumulating 7 caps.
