Tyler Adams

Tyler Adams is an American defensive midfielder who captained the United States at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, becoming the youngest captain at that tournament. He has played in MLS, the Bundesliga, and the Premier League.

Adams came through the New York Red Bulls academy and became a first-team regular before moving to RB Leipzig in 2019, where he won the DFB-Pokal in 2022. A high-profile transfer to Leeds United followed, and after their relegation he joined AFC Bournemouth in 2023, where he has become a reliable Premier League midfielder.

With 54 caps, Adams has been a central figure for the United States for several years. He captained the side at the 2022 FIFA World Cup and has won two CONCACAF Nations League titles.
